The Original Bad Samaritans

Over the years there have been 4 bands, 2 books 1 video game that have tried to use the name Bad Samaritans. we formed the bad Samaritans way back in 1987 and are still playing shows, recording music and touring the world. You would think that in the age of the internet a band would google the name before they try to use it after allit is right there for everyone to see. now there is another band from the UK that didn't do there home work. Hey Bad Samaritan guys from the UK you are too late.

BAD SAMARITANS are long time stalwarts of the Los Angeles punk rock scene. The band's sound is aggressive, intense and driving in the vein of Poison Idea, Black Flag, and The Dead Kennedys. The band's lyrics are harsh but not without humor, and Re-gur-gi-tate is their third release. Thirteen songs, including covers of the Partridge Family's "I Woke Up In Love" and The Hanson Brothers' "Bad."

Bad Samaritans played 39 shows in 2007. We played in 2007 all over the Southwestern United States and Mexico. We have played in 2007 with great bands like D.I., Youth Brigade, The Misfits, Dead Kennedy's, Ill Repute, Agent Orange, Social Unrest, Angry Samoans, Real McKenzies, Dr Know, A.N.S., Lower Class Brats, Cheap Sex, Agression, Channel 3, Naked Aggression, Circle One, Missing 23rd, Career Soldiers, GG Elvis & The TCP Band, Killroy, Kill Detail, False Cause, Dreadful Children, Bad Reaction, The Last Priority, Public Defecation, The Mongers, The Fuse and many more awesome bands. We want to thank everyone for coming to the shows, the promoters and venues for throwing the shows and everyone for making this a great year for The Bad Samaritans. In 2008 we will be touring extensively, recording another full length release and having as much fun as we possibly can!!!!
